Concept and structure of camera module
: Camera module is a component that converts images from lenses into digital signals through sensors.
– Camera modules consist of Image Sensor, Lens Module, IR-Filter, Package, etc.
– Image sensors are classified as Charge Coupled Device (CCD) sensors and Complementary Metal Oxide Semi-conductors (CMOS).
A. The advantages and disadvantages of CCD sensors are that they can achieve higher quality image quality than CMOS, and they consume a lot of power.
B. CMOS has excellent mass-production, so its price is low, and its disadvantages are relatively low quality and noise, so its size is large.
C. The Lens Module is made of glass for spherical method and plastic injection for non- spherical method is made of plastic injection.
